Women’s U19 T20 Asia Cup: India Defeats Pakistan by Nine Wickets
KUALA LUMPUR – India registered a dominant nine-wicket victory over Pakistan in a Group A match of the ACC U19 Women’s Asia Cup held at the Bayuemas Cricket Oval on Sunday.
Batting first, Pakistan managed 67 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Wicketkeeper-batter Komal Khan was the top scorer, contributing 24 runs off 32 balls, including four boundaries. India’s Sonam Yadav delivered an impressive spell, claiming four wickets for just six runs in four overs.
India chased the target with ease, reaching 68 for one in only 7.5 overs. Left-handed batter G Kamilini led the charge, remaining unbeaten with a quickfire 44 off 29 balls, featuring four boundaries and three sixes.
Pakistan will face Nepal in their next match on Monday, with the game scheduled to start at 2 pm local time.
