New Zealand claimed a commanding victory over Pakistan in the Champions Trophy opener on Wednesday at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.

With this win, they lead the points table with two points. Their next match is against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on Monday, February 24.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will look to earn their first points when they take on India on Sunday, February 23, at Dubai Cricket Stadium in the UAE. The next Group A fixture will be played tomorrow, Thursday, February 20, between India and Bangladesh in Dubai.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the winners competing in the final at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on March 9. If India qualifies for the final, the match will be moved to Dubai.
