Head chief selector of the Pakistan men’s team Mohammad Wasim will announce central contracts at Pindi Stadium in Rawalpindi today.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Wasim will hold a press conference to reveal the 33 players who would receive central contracts for 2022-23.

Previously, PCB chairman Ramiz Raja announced in a news conference that the number of contracts has climbed from twenty to thirty-three.

In addition, the cricket board has hiked match payments by 10 percent across all formats. In addition, match costs for non-playing members would increase from 50 percent to 70 percent.

Babar Azam, the Pakistani captain across all formats, would also receive a leadership allowance to compensate him for his additional responsibilities.
