The training sessions for the upcoming two-match Test series against Srei Lanka are underway as the Shaheens warm up for the second two-day practice match.

The two-day practice match, that was played three days back, was a success for the batsmen as they displayed spectacular performances.

Skipper Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq, batting first in the first practice match, stood firm as the team totaled 274 with the loss of just 3 wickets.

Babar once again showed his quality batting skills as he scored a century (111 unbeaten). Left-hand batsman Fawad Alam played well with the bat. he remained unbeaten at 75.

However, the bowling side was not able to perform well. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Yasir Shah and Salman Ali Aghan of Sarfaraz XI could only gran one wicket each while reaming bowlers finished the inning without taking any wicket.

It is pertinent to mention that the Shaheens will tour crisis-hit Sri Lanka to play two Test matches.
