The brilliant centuries from Ahmed Hussain and Sameer Minhas were the cornerstone of Pakistan’s comprehensive win, leaving Malaysia with no answer.
At the Sevens Stadium in Dubai, Pakistan posted an imposing total of 345 for 3 after being asked to bat. Sameer Minhas played a remarkable innings, scoring 177 off 148 balls, anchoring the innings with 11 fours and 8 sixes.
He built a massive 293-run partnership with Ahmed Hussain, who scored an impressive 132 from 114 balls, including 8 fours and 2 sixes.
In reply, Malaysia collapsed under Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack, being bowled out for just 48 in 19.4 overs.
