There is good news for both Facebook and Instagram users, according to a recent report the social network has built a feature for images called “Popular Photos” same as the Instagram.

As anyone who uses Facebook knows, the social media platform’s News Feed is one that requires a lot of tapping, loading, and waiting.

The process feels increasingly archaic compared to other primarily mobile-based services like Instagram, which allows users to rapidly scroll through images, press and hold an image to immediately pull up a larger preview of it, and more.

With the Popular Photos feature, you will now see more pictures from your friends and other public posts by scrolling down which will be curated for you by Facebook’s algorithm, thus giving you an Instagram feed-like experience.

Facebook also ensured that photo captions don’t look wordy by truncating them after 65 characters.

The social network confirmed that testing of Popular Photos has concluded, but didn’t reveal more details about it or share a timeline for its rollout.
