Facebook finally rolls out desktop dark mode to avoid eyestrain

Widely-used social media platform, Facebook always come up with new and beneficial features for its users globally.

Facebook, mostly known for its amazing feature selection, helps users to spend much of their time on the tech giant.

Like always, Facebook now allows its desktop users to enable dark-mode feature after the Messenger App.

According to the company, majority of people on Facebook will have access to the new desktop design, which includes dark mode.

The feature will work on how we set our settings via the Settings drop down menu.

The tech giant, earlier had promised a cleaner and faster desktop interface at its F8 developers conference last spring.

A limited number of users began testing the newly launched design in January.

The users will likely see a banner on top of the Facebook page, asking if you want to try the “New Facebook.”

For now, users still switch back to “Classic Facebook” if chosen.

But, the redesign will become the default later this year.

Other changes include centralized tabs for Facebook Watch, Marketplace, Groups and Gaming.

The dark mode already found available in a number of Facebook-owned apps, including Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp.

This feature has undoubtedly helped reduce some eyestrain during work from home or late night office works amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.
