Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said a new joint study of Pakistan Science Foundation and HEC launched to ascertain how the coronavirus pandemic will affect the country’s industry.

Taking to his twitter handle, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said a new joint study of Pakistan Science Foundation and HEC launched to ascertain how the coronavirus pandemic will affect the country’s industry. The study will also ascertain which new industries would emerge and collapse as a result of the pandemic.

He also added that HEC shall then issue guidelines to Unis to reset their Degree plans according to future industry needs.

Earlier Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan will become one of the few early countries to control coronavirus pandemic. He assured that the government will put all efforts to facilitate people during the ongoing pandemic. However, Fawad Chaudhry also said that quality of ventilators and kits is a priority as false reports from low-standard kits can create massive issues. He added that the district administration is working for betterment of people. He also announced aid for 40,000 to 45,000 families in Jhelum.
