After Google, Facebook-owned WhatsApp on Thursday evening, users faced a worldwide outage of WhatsApp services. They were unable to send or receive text messages or calls from the WhatsApp application throughout the world.

WABetainfo is a website that tracks down the application, as the particular issue users were facing was simply on the server, and it wasn’t dependent on the network connection.

“WhatsApp is experiencing a partial outage for several users. It’s not possible to use the service because the server is down. Note that some users might still be able to use the service,” stated by the portal.

“It’s not possible to register a new account or to log in using an existing account for certain users,” Wabetainfo replied. Through the information of media statements, the difficulties continued till the beginning of morning hours on Friday.

WhatsApp’s services were restored earlier in the evening, and further hit took to social media, publishing problems with opening attachments, declined logins, and emails not arriving in users’ application inboxes.

It has apologized for these massive issues people faced, continuing that their system authenticity is the first preference at Google company.
