A hack for leaving a WhatsApp group without anyone knowing has just been introduced. With the Corona Virus and its fear spreading everywhere, employees have been working from home, maintaining communication through cell phones, and more specifically through Whatsapp. However, the overcrowding of Whatsapp groups has been bothering many people. A solution to this problem has just been discovered.

All of us are stuck in some WhatsApp groups with friends, family, neighbors, that we want to leave but our relationships demand otherwise, so there’s no option but to stay.

To exit a group unnoticed, here is how you should do it.

• Open the group chat, and press the three dots at the top right corner.

• Press ‘group info’ and ‘mute the conversation’ for a year.
• Next, go back to ‘group info’ and from there pressing ‘personalized notifications’ will give you the option of deactivating ‘notifications and warnings’.
• Pressing this will do the job.

Other hacks of saving yourself from being made part of unwanted groups is by managing who can add you to groups. This option makes sure you are not added to a group without your consent. Enabling this option will have you being asked for accepting an invite for a group first. To allow a contact you have to go to Settings first. From there you will go to ‘Account’, and then to ‘Security’.
