Tech giant Google previously released an application called Search Life in 2017, but later its name was changed to Google Go along with the other applications. Now, after 4 years this app crossed 500 million downloads on Android Play Store.

This app came pre-installed on the Android Go smartphone, but later it can be installed on other smartphones as well.

Hence, most of the downloads are from Android Go users which shows that there are many users of Android Go devices around the world.

If you live in a country or region with a slower internet linking, the Google Go app is highly recommended for you. It gives almost all the features of the regular Google app but weighs about only 8MB in size.
