A screenshot by a Twitter user showed that Instagram is working on its new Audio Rooms feature. The snap showed a new Microphone option popping at the top of the app.

The other screenshot showed that a user could easily mute or unmute and go exit from the Audio Rooms as the Microphone icon appears with a cross symbol.

According to sources, Instagram is not only working on the Audio Rooms feature, but it will soon appear with end-to-end encryption for some of its chats.

The feature will probably get active when a user starts a new chat with the other person with the label ‘ Start end-to-end encrypted chat’.
