Microsoft has released Preview Build for Windows Insider beta channel users, bringing Windows 11 one step closer to public availability.

Windows Insider is a software testing programme that provides individuals with early access to Microsoft’s operating systems. It follows a channel structure, with each tier becoming more stable as it progresses. The objective being assisting Microsoft in identifying and mitigating problems and weaknesses ahead of public releases.

Microsoft adds that the beta channel release will not include Microsoft Teams chat right away, but that it will be added in the following weeks.

To participate, however, you must be a Windows Insider, as previously stated. While there’s nothing prohibiting you from using Windows 11 as your primary operating system, I’d suggest testing it out on a secondary device or a separate disc. Moreover, Always create a backup of any important files that you can’t afford to lose.
