In December of last year, Samsung launched the budget-friendly Galaxy A12, which was powered by outdated entry-level MediaTek silicon. Samsung Galaxy A12s were also speculated previously, and the phone manufacturer has recently updated the A12 with a new model. Instead of MediaTek, the Galaxy A12 Nacho uses Samsung’s own Exynos processor.

The design of the Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho stays unchanged because it is simply a Galaxy A12 with a new processor. While the original used the low-end Helio P35 platform, the A12 Nacho is powered by the 8nm Exynos 850.

It still has 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of expandable internal storage, but the more powerful processor should enhance its performance. Everything is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that can fast-charge at 15W. OneUI 3.1, which is based on Android11, is pre-installed on the Galaxy A12 Nacho.

The display is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a notch. It has a 720P resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and an 8MP front-facing camera. The quad-camera system on the Galaxy A12 Nacho has a 48MP primary camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and two 2MP depth and macro sensors.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 Nacho launched in certain European and Russian countries. However, it is expected to expand to more regions in the near future. The base 32GB version costs RUB 11,990 (Rs. 26,800), whereas the previous Galaxy A12 with Mediatek processor costs Rs. 32,300 in Pakistan.
