Oppo launched the A57 in April with Dimensity 810 SoC and 5G connectivity, and now it has announced a 4G-only version powered by the Helio G35 chip.

The 4G model packs a 5,000 mAh battery which now charges faster up to 33W instead of 10W, but the screen refresh rate is reduced from 90Hz to 60Hz. It is still a 6.56″ LCD having HD+ resolution.

Memory and storage have also decreased. Onboard memory is 3 GB and storage is 64 GB. The Oppo A57 4G, on the other hand, enables RAM expansion up to 4GB (which won’t make much of a difference) and storage expansion up to 1TB.

The Oppo A57 4G appears to be similar to its 5G cousin at first glance, but closer scrutiny reveals a slightly modified camera island design. The Oppo Glow design is also included on the 4G version.

A side-mounted fingerprint reader, 13MP primary camera, 2MP depth sensor, 8MP selfie camera, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone connector, IP54 rating, and Dirac 3.0 certification round out the Oppo A57 4G’s features.

The Oppo A57 4G runs Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 out of the box and has two color options – Glowing Black and Glowing Green.
