Woody Allen and Alec Baldwin interviewed each other on Instagram Live.
Alec Baldwin interviewed Oscar-winning director Woody Allen on Instagram Live on Tuesday, but neither mentioned their troubles.
Both the deadly shooting committed by Baldwin of the cameraman working on “Rust” and the charges of sexual assault made against Allen were avoided as topics of discourse.
Baldwin posted a link to the interview on Instagram and wrote that he was “not interested in anyone else’s opinions.”
The interview, which lasted 55 minutes, curtailed public discourse. Baldwin yelled something in Spanish at an invisible person during the interview, but it went on nevertheless.
Allen has said that he plans to do “at least one more movie,” but that “a lot of the thrill is gone.”
Having a large screen at home with a clear picture is something that many people enjoy, according to Allen. “Working here isn’t nearly as fun as it was in the film industry. I’m not a fan of commercial filmmaking. To think that at least 500 people were watching made the game even more thrilling.”
Baldwin mirrored this attitude when he made the observation that viewers “care significantly less about seeing the picture in real-time.”
The number of watchers was estimated as 2,600 .
The reps from Allen and Baldwin declined to comment.
