Customers can just aim their camera at their feet and click through a range of shoes to see how they look from various angles in this virtual try-on. The tool, however, cannot be used to calculate shoe sizes. While the new function is now only accessible for iPhone 7 and newer users on iOS, Amazon announced in a blog post that it will be available for Android users shortly.

In 2017, The App introduced an augmented reality function in its app that allowed consumers to see how a piece of furniture would appear in their home. Clients could put on cosmetics in the app thanks to a relationship with L’Oréal, and an AR feature related to its brick-and-mortar the App Salon allowed customers to preview how haircuts and hair colours appear on them before scissors, clippers, and curlers were used. Some spectacles and Made for You custom-fit T-shirts are among the other goods having try-on capabilities on Amazon’s app.
