Apple launched the notched MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 in September, along with the third-generation AirPods. Apple updated the MacBook Pro 13 and Air in 2020 with M1 silicon. The MacBook Pro 16 switched from Intel to Apple’s ARM processor. Along with the 16-inch upgrade, Apple also released a 14-inch variant. Apple updated the MacBook Pro 15 with a 16-inch model a few years ago. The 2021 MacBook Pro 14 has Apple’s M1 Pro or M1 Max CPUs and several 2015 MacBook Pro connectors. Those who appreciate the traditional MacBook Pro style can still buy the 13-inch M2 (2022).
