Despite having been out of the competitive smartphone market for some time, HTC has just released a new handset called the Desire 22 Pro, and its selling point is that it is designed for the metaverse.

For those who are unfamiliar, the Desire 22 Pro is the successor to the Desire 21 Pro, which is the company’s series of smartphones aimed at the metaverse. It is positioned as the “ideal companion” to HTC’s recently unveiled Vive Flow VR headset. As the name implies, the headset allows users to experience virtual reality, which is the foundation of the metaverse. Remember that the headset is compatible with any Android smartphone, but the Desire 22 Pro may have some unique features or functions.
