Employees who joined Tesla just a few months ago are apparently being let go, and job offers are reportedly being rescinded.

According to an international news publication, many employees affected by these changes have used social media to discuss their experiences with lost jobs and withdrew job offers.

An executive told that he believed his career was secure.

Tesla said that the dismissals were motivated by performance appraisals, but the employee disputed this.

The unnamed worker claimed, “I had only been at Tesla for a few months and had yet to have performance goals or a performance evaluation.”

He continued by saying that the business kept their decision’s rationale a secret from him.

Iain Abshier said on his LinkedIn site, “Damn, talk about a stomach punch,” on being let go “after just two weeks of work.”

An intern who had spent a year working for the IT giant said that his offer of a permanent employment had been withdrawn.

The corporation was even sued by two employees, according to the publication, for “laying off hundreds of staff with short notice”.
