Liverpool University and the DST Lab are improving AI data

Liverpool University will create the DDRC for the Defence AI Strategy and Centre.

- Liverpool, Surrey, and Digital Catapult head the DDRC.
- By 2022, 5–8 academic roles will be added.
University of Liverpool will be part of a partnership to build the Defense Data Research Centre (DDRC) as part of the newly issued Defense AI Strategy and the newly established Defense AI Centre.
The DDRC is a cooperation led by the University of Exeter and backed by Liverpool, Surrey, and the Digital Catapult.
The Centre will focus on AI data that is unavailable or unusable in its raw state.

These examined citizen data literacy, bias and misinformation, workplace digital tool adoption, and automation’s influence.

Glen Hart, Dstl Senior Principal Scientist: “The DDRC is an exciting addition in capability to the Defence AI Centre. The DDRC will help to overcome some of the barriers to using data. The DDRC is a unique capability in the UK Academic landscape and we look forward to working closely with them.”
