Three months after the C31’s release, Realme unveiled a new budget smartphone. The Realme C30 has a sizable 6.5″ screen and a 5,000 mAh battery.

A Unisoc T612 chipset powers the C30. It has an octa-core CPU with two significant Cortex-A75 units operating at 1.8 GHz and is constructed using a 12nm technology. An LCD with HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera are present on the front of the device.

There is only one 8MP camera and one LED flash on the rear.

There is a dedicated microSD card for up to 1TB of additional storage for images, music, and other data, however the phone only comes with 2/3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. Two nano SIM cards can fit in the tray as well.

The phone includes a special user interface called Realme Go Edition that is based on its namesake version of Android 11. It has lightweight programmes that use less energy and can operate smoothly with with 2 GB of RAM.

The Realme C30 sports a striped pattern on the back and is only 8.5 mm thick. Although it has smooth edges, there is an unwelcome surprise on the bottom: a micro USB connector that supports 10W charging. The 3.5mm audio jack is at least immediately close to the mic and the port.

Lake Blue or Bamboo Green are the available colours. Sales start on June 27 at Realme.com, Flipkart, and physical stores. Prices are INR7,499 ($100/€90) or INR8,299 ($105/€100), depending on RAM option.
