Oppo K10 Energy unveils SD 778G chip, 120Hz LCD, offline distribution
The Oppo K10 Energy (or possibly “Vitality Edition”, model number PERM10) is a new smartphone. You won’t find much information about it online because it appears meant for offline distribution. Here is what we currently know.
Oppo K10 is powered by a Snapdragon 778G processor and is equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. In addition, it features a 5,000mAh battery with 30W rapid charging. The phone has a thickness of 8.5mm and a weight of 199g.
On the front of the device is a 6.59-inch LCD (1,080 x 2,412 pixels) with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, as well as a 16MP selfie camera. On the rear will be a 64MP primary camera, 8MP (likely ultra-wide), and 2MP secondary camera. In addition to an X-axis linear motor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, the phone features an X-axis linear motor.
This sounds comparable to the Chinese Oppo K10 5G and superior to the worldwide K10 5G. Except for the additional RAM, it appears identical to the Oppo K9s from the previous year.
The Oppo K10 Energy, or whatever its name will be, will retail for CNY 2,200 ($325/€320/26,000) in physical stores. Comparatively, the Chinese K10 (12/256GB) costs CNY 2,500 (there are also 8/128GB and 8/256GB models available for less). The K9s (8/256GB) costs CNY 2,200 (there are also cheaper 6/128GB and 8/128GB models).
The Energy version does not appear to be accessible at this time, so certain details are unknown (especially whether or not it will be available globally).
