Wear OS 3.5 and One UI Watch 4.5 were recently revealed through a series of image leaks. Almost a year has passed since Google released Wear OS 3.

The software has not yet been implemented into any products, despite previous assurances to the contrary. A new OS version appears to be in development as we wait for the upgrade to go out to smartwatches, and there are plenty of screenshots to back up this claim.

Evan Blass (@evleaks) dropped a tonne of photos with the title “Wear OS 3.5 / One UI Watch 4.5”. One UI Watch 4.5 was beta-tested last month. Wear OS 3.5/One UI Watch 4.5 has new watch faces. Calling and messaging have also expanded. Users can choose which SIM to use from their watch.

As it stands, it seems like there will be accessibility settings that allow for different audio and visual preferences. Color correction is one of the visual upgrades that can be applied to photographs on the watch. In total, four default settings will be accessible. The audio output from the watch will also be improved. Adjusting the volume or switching to mono are two of the available options. Finally, the smartwatches will allow for fine-tuning in response to physical touches.

Because Blass didn’t include any supporting materials with his post, we’ll have to make do with the pictures for the time being. We do know that the new version of the One UI Watch will have numerous enhancements and corrections to existing issues. An updated version of Wear OS and One UI Watch may be available soon. Both Google’s Pixel Watch and Samsung’s updated Galaxy Watch are on their way to market. Both of these modifications could be part of upcoming new items that are expected to hit shelves this summer.
