Apple’s iPhone 14 lineup has been out for less than a week, and users are already saying that some third-party apps cause the camera to shake violently when they open the camera. The problem is now being fixed, and iPhones are getting the iOS 16.0.2 update early.

The second-generation sensor-shift OIS system in the main camera of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max seems to have caused the camera to shake.

Some users said that when they opened a non-Apple app that used the camera, the camera made loud shaking and grinding sounds.

This made the camera unusable for these apps. This didn’t have any effect on my own iPhone 14 Pro.

Other fixes were also made as part of the update. Some people didn’t like the new prompt to copy and paste that came with iOS 16.

It would ask users if they wanted to copy and paste content between apps, and some users said that this happened too often.

The update also fixes a touch input issue affecting the iPhone X, XR, and iPhone 11 after a display replacement.

All iPhones that can get it are now getting it. Go to Settings > General > Software Update to get the update.
