Apple Watch Pro
We’re only a few days away from Apple’s “Far Out” event, at which the corporation will reveal its next round of tech goods. According to rumours, the new devices would include an all-new Apple Watch, specifically a Pro version of the wearable.
The revelation that the Apple Watch Pro will have an extra button that can be programmed by the user broke on Monday, just two days before Apple’s event.
It will also have a larger 1.99-inch display (compared to the largest Series 7 watch, which has a 1.9-inch display) and a larger 47mm shell (compared to the largest Series 7 watch at 45mm).
The additional button can be seen on the other side of the Digital Crown and the multitasking button in renderings of what is reportedly the next Apple Watch Pro that was provided by India-based 91mobiles.
Notably, Bloomberg reporter and trustworthy Apple leaker Mark Gurman verified the renders, tweeting that “this is indeed it.”
The button is “probably programmable,” he continued, allowing the wearer to select what it does, such as “launching a specific app, feature, or workout.”
There have been rumours that the Apple Watch Pro’s bands may not be compatible with those of the standard Apple Watch.
If that’s the case, everyone interested in the Pro and who already has a carefully picked band selection will be irritated.
In terms of pricing, don’t be shocked if Apple charges approximately $1,000 for the Pro version of its smartwatch.
Apple has not acknowledged the existence of the first Pro model of its smartwatch.
However, there have been so many rumours about the device that it will come as a huge surprise if it does not show up at Apple’s announcement on Wednesday.
Expect the Apple Watch Series 8 and a new version of the more affordable Apple Watch SE2 at the presentation.
