A mobile Assassin’s Creed game, Mighty Quest 2, and Valiant Hearts 2 will only be available on Netflix. Additionally, a live-action Assassin’s Creed television series will debut on Netflix.

There was little additional Assassin’s Creed TV show or mobile game information provided, but Valiant Hearts 2 is a brand-new game announcement. It is a follow-up to Valiant Hearts: The Great War from 2014.

Netflix has big plans for the Assassin’s Creed IP, according to a blog post made during the showcase. The game will receive “many distinct episodes,” including animation and anime adaptations, in addition to the live-action programme.

There is no showrunner for the live-action programme right now.

The action is a significant advancement in Netflix’s recent foray into the video game sector.

The platform most recently disclosed that Desta: The Memories Between and a number of other independent games would be added on September 27.

Additionally, Night School Studio, the creators of Oxenfree, was purchased by Netflix last year.

Following in March were the purchases of Texas-based developer Boss Fight Entertainment and the Finnish mobile gaming studio Next Games.

Although it’s intriguing to watch Netflix enter the game industry, the service still has a ways to go. Netflix’s games have been downloaded 23.3 million times, and 1.7 million customers play them every day, according to the latest stats.

However, this represents less than 1% of the platform’s total global subscriber base of 221 million.

Numerous well-known independent games have already been released on the platform, including Moonlighter, Into the Breach, and Spiritfarer. Immortality and some more movies are also coming to Netflix.
