The next wave of items is coming, according to Xiaomi President Lu Weibing. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series is about to launch, according to sources, which supports this claim. It will happen within the month. Some of the supposed specs of the lineup have been found.

The successor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 with a 120W charging speed was recently revealed. On the other hand, the standard Note 12 saves a 67-watt adaptor for charging. Since the previous Note 11 & 11 Pro only support 33W and 67W, respectively, the trend is going to change.

The Note 12 is expected to cost between 35,000 and 45,000 dollars, while the Note 12 Pro should cost between 45,000 and 60,000 dollars. Xiaomi will shortly formally reveal the costs during a keynote. So keep an eye out for that.

According to reports, the company may decide to use Dimensity chipsets this time to power these new Xiaomi Redmi mobile phones. A recent leak gave the name Dimesity 1080 to an unreleased processor with Antutu results comparable to Snapdragon 778G 5G. The upcoming SoC, which is fabricated on a 6nm process, is most likely to sport an exceptional 2.6GHz clock speed and an integrated Arm Mali-G68 GPU. It receives a score between 500,000 and 600,000 on Antutu’s benchmarks.

As usual, the Note 12 and Note 12 Pro Plus will launch first in the global market, while the Note 12 Pro may stay in the brand’s home country. According to Lu Weibing’s claim that both lineups offer “inexpensive flagship performance,” the new lineup will feature specifications that are carried over from Xiaomi’s mid-year-launched Redmi Note 11T series.
