Xiaomi Watch S2 was revealed with the Xiaomi 13 series smartphones as the Chinese electronics company’s latest wearable. The Xiaomi Watch S1 replacement comes in 46mm and 42mm display sizes, and it supports Bluetooth calling, allowing users to take voice calls directly from their wrists. The Xiaomi Watch S2 includes a body composition measurement capability in addition to more than 100 sports modes. It also has a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor and a heart rate monitor. The Xiaomi Watch S2 is said to have a 12-day battery life on a single charge.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 is priced at CNY 999 (about Rs. 11,800) for the 42mm display option, and CNY 1,099 for the 46mm display version (roughly Rs. 13,000). The new smartwatch is available in Black, Light Gold, and Silver, with leather or silicone strap options. It is currently on the market in China.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 will not be available in all markets, including India, till further notice.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 smartwatch features a circular dial and a 1.43-inch or 1.32-inch display with a pixel density of 353ppi. The AMOLED display has a resolution of 466 466 pixels. The wearable is powered by MIUI Watch OS and is compatible with devices running Android 6.0 or iOS 12.0 or later.

Over 100 sports modes are available on the recently released Xiaomi Watch S2, including walking, cycling, hiking, football, jogging, and skipping. It includes a blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, a stress monitor, a continuous heart rate tracker, female health tracking, and sleep monitoring. It also has a body composition measurement tool that displays eight different sorts of body health data reports. On the Watch S2, Xiaomi has included a new safety monitoring feature that allows users to send geolocation and SOS messages with a single keyboard in the event of an emergency. It also includes alarms, reminders, a timer, and message notifications built in.

The wearable connects through Bluetooth v5.2 and allows users to receive and reject calls from their wrists using an internal microphone and speaker. The smartwatch also includes NFC capability for contactless payments. Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS are some of the other communication choices. The wearable is water resistant to 5ATM.

The Xiaomi Watch S2 46mm model is powered by a 500mAh battery and is supposed to last up to 12 days on a single charge. The 42mm model, on the other hand, is powered by a 305mAh battery that is said to provide up to 7 days of operation on a single charge.
