The creators of YouTube Music have announced the launch of a new Listening Room, a Discord channel where users may provide feedback on early access features.

Anyone can apply, but they must complete a questionnaire about their musical preferences and subscription preferences. You must be a music enthusiast, provide regular feedback through conversations and polls, and use YouTube Music as your primary audio streaming service for a year (though you may continue to use another service at the same time).

If accepted, that first year comes for free as part of the program, and you’ll have early access to new features and “a chance to impact the future of YouTube Music.”

Applicants are not permitted to share any information, nor are they permitted to take screenshots, photos, or record anything from the listening room. In February, YouTube Music will contact approved applicants.
