Snapchat, a well-known instant messaging service, recently debuted two new features — “Sounds Recommendations for Lenses” and “Sounds Sync for Camera Roll” — that are aimed at assisting the platform’s content creators.

The ‘Sounds Recommendation for Lenses’ feature was created for Snapchat’s Augmented Reality Lenses and, as the name implies, allows users to find sounds that go well with the lens they are using. Users will be able to tap the sounds icon after applying a lens to a picture or video to access a list of pertinent sounds that can be included in the media.

When users create a montage, the second feature, called “Sounds Sync for Camera Roll,” automatically syncs the uploaded media, such as pictures or videos, to the beat of the music. It is helpful for those who want to create content about popular challenges or audio and supports up to twenty photos and videos.

Currently available in the US, both features will be made available globally on iOS and Android devices in March of this year, according to Snapchat.
