WhatsApp rolling out Report status updates feature on Android beta user
WhatsApp disappearing messages came as a relief to many users because it removed the discussion after the specified time-saving memory. Nevertheless, some of the most significant communications were also destroyed during this drill.
To combat this, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that prevents messages from being automatically deleted when the disappearing messages function is enabled.
To access and use this feature, one must have the most recent versions of iOS and Android, as well as the feature that prevents WhatsApp messages from being deleted.
While discussing this, WhatsApp beta tweeted:
“WhatsApp is releasing a feature to keep messages from disappearing on iOS and Android beta! It is now possible to keep messages from disappearing in order to prevent them from being automatically deleted from the chat history!”
Aside from that, it also tweeted three restrictions to keep the messages from being deleted.
“3 rules for keeping disappearing messages:”
Furthermore, it was reported that WhatsApp is now introducing the ability to prevent messages from disappearing for some beta testers who install the current beta version of WhatsApp or the TestFlight App.
It noted that the new Retain Action feature allows users to prevent the expiration of certain disappearing WhatsApp messages.
