ChatGPT now available as a preview service in Microsoft Azure OpenAI
Microsoft has announced that OpenAI’s ChatGPT is now available for preview in the Azure OpenAI service.
Developers can incorporate bespoke artificial intelligence (AI)-powered experiences directly into their own applications with ChatGPT, which is in preview in the Azure OpenAI service, the tech giant stated in a blog post on Thursday.
“Cognitive services can be combined with Azure OpenAI to create compelling use cases for enterprises.”
Clients can currently access this ChatGPT preview for $0.002/1k tokens, with pricing for full ChatGPT usage beginning on March 13.
More than 1,000 clients are currently using the Azure OpenAI service to deploy the most advanced AI models, including DALL-E 2, GPT-3.5, Codex, and other large language models backed by Azure’s unique supercomputing and enterprise capabilities.
“We’re already seeing the impact AI can have on people and companies, helping improve productivity, amplify creativity, and augment everyday tasks,” it added.
The IT giant announced the general release of the Azure OpenAI service in January, which allows organizations to power their apps with large-scale artificial intelligence.
With this statement, the company also stated that it will soon integrate ChatGPT into its cloud-based service.
