We learned earlier this week that the Google Pixel 8 series will be driven by the company’s new and upgraded Tensor 3 chip, and now we have even more to discuss thanks to a new leak.

The Pixel 8 Pro appears to have more rounded sides and a less boxy overall appearance than the Pixel 7 Pro.

While the camera island remains recognizable as pixel-like, there are several variations. Google appears to have placed all three cameras in the same oval opening in the metal this time. In addition, there is a new sensor situated beneath the flash, but its function is unknown.

The Pixel 8 Pro is said to be 162.6 x 76.5 x 8.7 mm in size, with a thickness of about 12 mm at the camera bump. Its display is expected to be 6.52 inches in size, which is smaller than the Pixel 7 Pro’s, although this is to fit the phone’s more rounded corners.

The power and volume buttons are on the right, with the USB-C connector and speaker at the bottom. The SIM card tray is on the left side.

The Pixel 8 Pro‘s processor, which is expected to include the upcoming Google Tensor G3 SoC, will be based on the upcoming Samsung Exynos 2300, which will be manufactured on Samsung’s 3nm technology.
