The Infinix Smart 8 has been officially introduced, serving as the follow-up to the Smart 7 released in February. It closely resembles the Tecno Pop 8, a similarity expected as both brands, Infinix and Tecno, fall under the Transsion Holdings umbrella.

The Smart 8 features an IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen includes a punch-hole cutout and a Dynamic Island-inspired overlay that provides status updates and charging information.

Infinix opted for the Unisoc T606 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage through the microSD card slot. The rear of the device features a 13MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a VGA depth sensor, and an LED flash.

The device runs on Android 13 with Infinix XOS 13 on top, and it comes equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging.

The Infinix Smart 8 is available in Timber Black, Galaxy White, Crystal Green, and Shiny Gold colors. It is priced at NGN 82,000 ($105) in Nigeria and is already available for open sale.
