Realme Note 50 launch date announced

Realme has officially announced that the Realme Note 50 is set to be released on January 23 in the Philippines, with a likely launch in Indonesia shortly afterward.

The phone will come in black and blue color options, as revealed in the official teaser. Based on the revealed specifications and design, there’s a possibility that the Realme Note 50 could be an upgraded or rebranded version of the Realme C51.

The Realme Note 50 is expected to feature a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution, a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 560 nits. It will run on Realme UI T-based Android 13 OS and come with a convenient side fingerprint sensor.

Under the cover, the phone will be powered by a Unisoc T612 chipset, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM. The device is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging and offers storage options up to 128 GB.

On the camera front, there’s a 5-megapixel front camera, and on the back, a dual-camera setup with a main sensor boasting 50 megapixels.

There’s additional buzz suggesting that Realme is gearing up to unveil not just the Note 50 but also the Note 1 on January 24 in Indonesia. Rumors about the Note 1 hint at a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ 120Hz display, a powerful Dimensity 7050 chipset, a sizable 5,000mAh battery with rapid 67W fast charging, a 16-megapixel front camera, and an impressive 108-megapixel triple camera setup on the back.
