The Xiaomi Redmi A3 is poised to succeed the Redmi A2, promising significant enhancements in aesthetics and performance. Prior to its official launch, crucial details about the smartphone have already been listed on the shelves of African retail outlets.

Design and Display

The Redmi A3 presents a design makeover that exhibits a glass back with a circular camera module resembling that of the Realme 11 Pro series. The design of the smartphone is likely to be a 6.71 inches LCD screen with a HD+ resolution, refresh rate of 90Hz, and peak brightness of 400 nits.

There will be three color options – Black, Blue and Forest Green.

There is a 13MP main sensor at the back and an 8MP front camera in the Redmi A3.

The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging.

Hardware and Software

The Redmi A3 comes with a MediaTek processor 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and an additional 4GB of Virtual RAM. It comes with 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage and a dedicated microSD card slot for expandability. This device is powered by Android 13 (Go Edition), specially designed for budget-oriented smartphones to deliver optimal performance.

Connectivity and Additional Features

The Redmi A3 supports Dual SIM, 4G, WiFi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, and a number of the most popular satellite navigation Systems. Moreover, it has a 3.5mm audio jack and it uses a USB Type-C port for charging.
