WhatsApp, a messaging service owned by Meta, is constantly enhancing its features for users, with the latest addition being advanced photo editing tools.

Over time, the platform has introduced crucial features such as disappearing messages, encrypted cloud backups, and multi-device support, prioritizing user privacy and convenience.

To further elevate the user experience, WhatsApp is introducing updates supported by artificial intelligence.

These new features are currently available in beta versions of WhatsApp and will be rolled out to all users after the testing phase. In the recent Android beta release (v2.24.7.13), enhancements like Backdrop, Restyle, and Expand have been incorporated into the photo editor.

A new sparkle icon has been introduced at the top row of the editor, providing users with a fresh experience.

Backdrop enables users to modify the background of a picture; Restyle facilitates overall image adjustments; and Expand aids in enlarging images.

Enthusiastic users are eagerly anticipating the arrival of these new editing tools on WhatsApp, a widely used app with 2 billion users globally.
