Sindh Government to Fully Digitize All Departments

In a bid to modernize provincial governance, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed all government departments to adopt a digital system. This decision was made during a recent e-governance session chaired by the CM.

During the session, the IT secretary outlined plans for a comprehensive digital framework, which will be submitted to the Chief Minister for approval. The new system will also integrate Deputy Commissioner (DC) offices across various districts to streamline administrative operations and enhance service delivery.

The Sukkur DC office has already undergone digitization, and its performance is being carefully monitored as a model for other districts.

CM Murad Ali Shah emphasized that utilizing technology is essential for promoting good governance by ensuring transparency and accountability. This move aligns with the CM’s vision to transform Sindh into a digitally empowered province, improving public services, reducing bureaucratic delays, and fostering economic growth.
