Meta-owned WhatsApp is constantly enhancing the user experience by adding new features. Recently, a beta version for Android devices introduced a feature that allows users to manage the notification badge count on their home screens, according to WABetaInfo.

This update gives users greater control over how their notification badges appear, offering two options to choose from.

In addition to this, WhatsApp is developing a new feature for the status section that will enable users to create interactive polls. With this feature, users can add polls as stickers to their status updates, allowing contacts to vote on various options. This exciting addition is currently in development and will be available in a future update.

Moreover, reports suggest that WhatsApp plans to revamp its app to facilitate easier searching for forwarded links on the web, enhancing overall functionality for users.

As these updates roll out, WhatsApp aims to provide a more customizable and engaging experience for its users, ensuring they remain connected and informed in an ever-evolving digital landscape.
