Motorola Moto G75 launched with Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset

The Motorola Moto G75, which leaked last month, has now been officially launched. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs Android 14-based MyUX right out of the box, with the promise of five Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

Interestingly, a tip suggested that Motorola UK’s mailing list advertised software upgrades until 2030 and a three-year warranty, though Motorola’s official websites do not confirm the 2030 upgrade claim. It’s likely they were referring to security updates, but the long-term support is still notable.

The Moto G75 comes with a 6.78-inch FullHD+ LCD, featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000 nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It includes a punch-hole 16MP selfie camera, and since it uses an LCD, the fingerprint scanner is embedded in the power button.

On the rear, there is a 50MP main camera with a Sony-LYTIA 600 sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide camera and a flicker sensor. The Moto G75 also includes AI features like Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, and Photo Unblur. Powering the device is a 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Other key features include an IP68 rating, MIL-STD-810H certification, NFC, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, a USB-C port, and a microSD card slot for up to 1TB of expandable storage.

The Moto G75 will be available in Charcoal Grey, Aqua Blue, and Succulent Green, with different back panel finishes. However, Motorola has yet to reveal the phone’s pricing and availability details.
