Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy A16 series, available in both 4G and 5G variants, in December. Recent leaks have provided detailed specifications for both models.

The key difference between the two phones lies in their chipsets. In Europe, the Galaxy A16 5G will feature Samsung’s Exynos 1330 SoC, while regions like Southeast Asia are expected to receive a version powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300. The Galaxy A16 4G will use MediaTek’s Helio G99 chipset.

Both models will come with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, offering a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. Powering the phones is a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.

Additionally, both devices will have 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and expandable memory via microSD.

Samsung is expected to provide up to six years of Android updates and security patches. In terms of pricing, the Galaxy A16 4G is expected to start at €210, while the Galaxy A16 5G will be priced around €240 in Europe.
