Xiaomi, renowned for its mobile camera innovation, is expanding its Ultra series with the anticipated launch of the Xiaomi 15 series. Following the successful releases of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi 14, the tech giant is now preparing for its next flagship.

Xiaomi 15 Series Release Date (Expected)

While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the release date, a recent leak suggests that the Xiaomi 15 series, including both base and Ultra models, may be launched in China on October 20. Previous rumors had speculated a release by early 2025, but this new tip from Weibo points to an earlier launch.

Xiaomi 15 Series Specifications (Rumored)

The base Xiaomi 15 model is expected to feature a flat 1.5K LTPO display, 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. It will likely have a 50MP triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and may include an ultrasonic under-screen fingerprint sensor for enhanced security.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to come with a 50MP Sony LYT-900 main camera, a 50MP selfie camera, and an impressive 200MP periscope telephoto camera. It could also feature up to 24GB of RAM, Android 15 with HyperOS 2.0, and a 6,200mAh battery.

These handsets are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, offering top-tier performance.
