Recent leaks by tipster Ice Universe reveal exciting details about the upcoming Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The flagship phone is rumored to feature a 200MP telephoto camera with a 100mm lens and 4.3x magnification, paired with advanced camera capabilities. This is a significant upgrade from its predecessor, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which has a 50MP 120mm periscope (5x) lens.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to have two telephoto cameras: the 200MP standout module and a 50MP 3x module, offering improved zoom and clarity. Additionally, this advanced camera setup will be part of the Xiaomi 15 series, including the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro models.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, the entire Xiaomi 15 series will come with an upgraded neural processing unit (NPU) and internet service provider (ISP) for enhanced image processing. This promises faster, more efficient photo capabilities across the lineup.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is anticipated to launch in January, following the release of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro, continuing Xiaomi’s tradition of pushing the boundaries of smartphone photography.
