Kia has officially revealed the 2025 EV5 GT Line, its latest SUV, at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show. This advanced electric vehicle (EV) brings a fresh design and cutting-edge technology, aiming to redefine the affordable electric SUV segment while competing with notable rivals like Tesla’s Model Y.

The EV5 GT Line showcases a bold exterior with blacked-out design elements and 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels, creating a modern and dynamic appearance.

Features of Kia 2025 EV5 GT Line

The SUV balances compact city-friendly dimensions with spacious interiors, catering to urban drivers and families alike. Its standout feature is a high-performance all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain, delivering 316 horsepower (233kW). The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just six seconds, blending speed with efficiency.

Equipped with fast-charging technology, the EV5 GT Line allows the battery to recharge from 30% to 80% in just 27 minutes. This makes it an excellent choice for drivers seeking convenience during long journeys.

The base model of the Kia 2025 EV5 GT Line is priced at 149,800 yuan (approximately $21,000) in China. It features a BYD Blade battery, offering a driving range of up to 329 miles (530 km) based on the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC).
