WhatsApp Unveils Shortcut for Meta AI in Chats Tab
WhatsApp has rolled out updated light and dark themes in its latest beta version for Android users, enhancing the app’s aesthetic and improving its visual identity. The new update, version 2.24.24.30, is being made available to select testers via the Google Play Beta Programme.
In the updated light theme, black accents have replaced the previous light blue, while the dark theme now features subtle white accents. These design updates are aimed at modernizing the app’s interface and creating a more distinct separation between WhatsApp Messenger and WhatsApp Business.
WhatsApp Business has also undergone a logo update, adopting a simplified design that now only features the word “WhatsApp,” aligning with a minimalist design trend.
The updates are part of WhatsApp’s effort to provide a consistent visual experience across platforms, with similar changes already implemented for iOS users. The new themes are being gradually rolled out to beta testers, with wider availability expected soon. Android users interested in trying out the new features can download the beta version via the Google Play Beta Programme.
This update reflects WhatsApp’s commitment to improving the user experience and ensuring visual coherence across different devices.
