OpenAI has kicked off its “12 Days of Shipmas” by releasing the full version of its o1 reasoning model, replacing the o1-preview launched earlier as a limited test.

The o1 reasoning model is designed to excel in solving complex problems, making it ideal for coding, scientific research, and detailed analysis. This updated version boasts deeper insights, improved contextual understanding, and a 34% reduction in errors compared to earlier models.

Availability and Features

The o1 reasoning model is currently available for ChatGPT Plus and Team users. Enterprise and Edu users will gain access next week.
