Apple has rolled out the third beta for iOS 18.3, iPadOS 18.3, and macOS Sequoia 15.3, bringing notable changes and improvements to Apple Intelligence.

A major update involves temporarily disabling notification summaries for news and entertainment apps. This move aims to address issues with inaccurate or poorly generated summaries. Apple plans to reintroduce this feature in future updates.

In the latest beta, users can now disable notification summaries directly from the Lock Screen on a per-app basis. To make them distinct from regular notifications, Apple has updated their design, presenting them in italicized text.

Other enhancements include refined features and bug fixes. The Camera Control button on iPhone 16 models now has an updated “Lock Focus and Exposure” toggle for better clarity. Additionally, the Messages app introduces the latest Genmoji option, accessible via the “+” button, offering enhanced creativity and functionality.

The final release of iOS 18.3 is expected by the end of January, reflecting Apple’s ongoing efforts to improve its ecosystem and user experience.
