Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its highly anticipated 15 Ultra smartphone, with rumors suggesting a global launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. The event is set to take place in early March in Barcelona, following the phone’s Chinese debut at the end of February.

Continuing last year’s pattern, the 15 Ultra will succeed the 14 Ultra, which made its global debut shortly after its Chinese release at MWC 2024.

The upcoming flagship promises to be one of the first ultra high-end Chinese Android smartphones of the year.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumored to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, offering top-tier performance. Its display is expected to be a “2K” OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, ensuring vibrant visuals and smooth transitions.

The device will likely be powered by a massive 6,000 mAh battery, with 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging capabilities.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to an impressive camera setup. The main sensor is rumored to be a 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900, complemented by a 50 MP ultrawide lens, a 50 MP close-range telephoto, and a groundbreaking 200 MP periscope telephoto lens, enabling 100x hybrid “AI” zoom.

With such high-end specifications, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is poised to make a strong impression on the global smartphone market. Stay tuned for its official announcement in the coming weeks.
