The much-anticipated Google Pixel 9a may hit the market sooner than expected, with reports suggesting that preorders will begin on March 19, followed by retail availability on March 26.

Speculations surrounding the mid-range smartphone have been circulating for months, and a recent leak has fueled anticipation by revealing key features and potential design upgrades.

Google Pixel 9a Expected Specifications

The Pixel 9a is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch display with a peak brightness of 2,700 nits, making it a compelling option in the mid-range smartphone segment. Additionally, improvements in the camera system are expected to enhance photography capabilities.

Renowned tech insider Evan Blass reportedly shared a render of the Pixel 9a, which was later deleted. The leaked image suggested that the upcoming model may bear a strong resemblance to the flagship Pixel 9 series in terms of design and layout.

Key design elements include the power and volume buttons positioned on the right-hand side, with antenna lines visible upon closer examination. A notable shift in design may involve the removal of the rear camera bar, a signature aesthetic of previous Pixel models.

Despite the leaks and rumors, Google has yet to confirm any official details about the Pixel 9a ahead of its launch. Enthusiasts will have to wait for an official announcement to see if these expectations hold true.
